Jenny's Inner Circle
Done-with-you college admissions support, without the five-figure consultant price tag.
You don't need another ebook. You need someone in your corner who has actually sat on the other side of the admissions table, guiding your student from a blank page all the way to a submitted application they're proud of.
That's what this is.
Here's the truth about most “help” out there
You can buy a course and get lost halfway through it.
You can hire a private consultant for $10,000–$20,000 and hope they're worth it.
Or you can keep Googling at midnight, second-guessing every decision, wondering if you're already too late.
I built the Inner Circle as the option in between, genuinely comprehensive, genuinely affordable, and structured so you always know exactly what to do next.
Who I am
I'm Jenny, founder of Admissions Narrative. I graduated from MIT in 2008, and I spent about a decade interviewing MIT applicants as an alumni interviewer, reading real applications, talking to real students, and watching what actually moves the needle in admissions versus what parents think matters.
I've been quietly advising families for years. The Inner Circle is how I do it at scale, without watering down the part that matters: direct access to me.
How it works: the 4-phase journey
The entire admissions process is organized into four phases, so at any point you and your student know exactly where you are and what comes next. No guessing.
Phase 1: Clarity & Strategy
We start with a 30-minute one-on-one call with you, your student, and me. We map out their positioning angle, their best essay directions, and a school-list strategy. You walk away with a Personal Narrative Blueprint: their story angle, essay direction, and prioritized school list. This is the roadmap for everything that follows.
Phase 2: Content Production
Your student gets full access to my essay writing course, not my ebooks, but a complete course with lessons and feedback from me, taken at their own pace. Plus SAT Boost app access if scores are still in progress, and a monthly recorded masterclass on a timely topic (early decision strategy, waitlists, financial aid appeals) so guidance is always current.
Phase 3: Polish & Review
Once drafts exist, I come back in. Your student gets five essay reviews with detailed, directed feedback, plus one full application review before they submit. I want to be clear about my approach: I don't rewrite essays. Admissions officers can spot an essay written by an adult, and that's a liability. I help your student find and sharpen their own voice. That's what gets people in.
Phase 4: Decision & Advocacy
I'm with you to the end. Waitlisted? I'll help you craft an appeal. Financial aid package fell short? There's a playbook for that. And throughout all four phases, you have full access to my library of 20+ books and guides, with a new one added every month.

One payment. Lifetime access.
College admissions is a one-to-two-year process for most families. You don't need a subscription draining your account every month.
You pay once. You're covered for the full cycle, and beyond. Even if your student has a question once they're in college, my door stays open.
No recurring billing. No monthly fees. No surprises.
The investment
Enrollment is $2,497.
But if you enroll within 5 days of watching the masterclass, you get an extra $500 off, your founding member rate of $1,997.
That works out to about $166 a month across a typical admissions cycle, for direct, ongoing access to someone who has been on the other side of the table.
After 5 days, the rate returns to $2,497. The founding member price won't come back.
A few honest notes
There's no sales call. You don't have to get on the phone with me to enroll. Read this page, decide, and click the button. I built it this way because I respect your time, if this is right for you, you already know.
Enrollment is capped. This is not an open-enrollment course where I sign up unlimited students and disappear. The strategy call, the essay reviews, the email support, those require direct access to me, and the quality only holds if I keep the group small. When we hit the cap, enrollment closes. If you're reading this and spots are still open, that's your window.
Frequently asked
Is this for the student or the parent?
Both. The strategy call is designed for you and your student together. After that, your student does the work with my guidance, and you stay in the loop.
My student is only a sophomore (or freshman). Is it too early?
No, earlier is better. Lifetime access means you're covered through the entire process, starting from wherever you are now.
We're a rising senior. Is it too late?
No. The phases compress to fit your timeline, and the strategy call will prioritize what matters most for this cycle.
Do you write the essays?
No. I give detailed, directed feedback and help your student sharpen their own voice. Essays that sound like an adult wrote them are a liability in admissions.
What if I'm already booking sessions with you?
You can keep doing that. The Inner Circle is simply a more structured, all-in-one option, usually a better value if you want ongoing support.
Questions families ask before joining
“We already have a college counselor. Why would we need this too?”
Most of the families I work with already have one. I'm not here to replace your counselor. I'm here to add strategic guidance, positioning, and proactive support that most counselors don't have the bandwidth to fully provide. The biggest difference: I help you think ahead, rather than waiting for you to know which questions to ask.
“My son is a rising senior. Is there enough value left to justify joining now?”
Yes. In fact, the program is built to be most valuable in the final six months before applications go in. Essay reviews, application reviews, ongoing guidance, and strategy are exactly what matters most right now.
“Are we paying for features we won't use?”
No. The program is built around the reality that families have different needs: some already have an essay coach, some skip SAT support, some lean mostly on email guidance, others use application reviews the most. You don't need to use every piece equally to get real value from it.
“What makes this different from other admissions support?”
Proactive guidance. Instead of relying on you to know what to ask and when, I structure everything (resources, webinars, reviews, support) around the real admissions timeline, so nothing falls through the cracks.
“What am I actually buying?”
Not individual essay reviews or webinars. You're getting a strategic partner who makes sure activities, applications, essays, testing, and college selection all work together toward one coherent admissions strategy, not disconnected pieces.
